Maki is a Japanese embroidery artist currently based in Tokyo.
She worked for EPIC SONY RECORDS in Sony Music Entertainment Inc (Japan) .
She quit the company and She started learning embroidery in earnest after take part in "Embroidery CAFE"（workshop） of "gallery artist in" of Ms Junko Yazaki.
After that, She learned techniques of embroidery art at "L'artisan de la broderie d'art Lemmikko " in Tokyo and She acquired the technique of "Needlework" and "Crochet hook".
Her artworks have been focused on "women" for the past several years.
She expresses women's charming personality by embroidery.
She makes works with Beads, Vintage Beads, Sequins (made in Japan, France and Czech, etc.), Cabochon, Ribbon, Fabric, Feather and others.
